After connecting: start selling

Packages, the login page, vouchers and payments: what to set up once your Wi-Fi is connected.

1. Packages: what guests can buy

  1. Create packagesOpen Packages → New Package: a name guests understand ("1 Hour", "1 Day", "1 Week"), the price, how long it lasts, and how many devices can use it at once.
  2. Choose where it is soldIn the package list, the Sold at column sets each package to one site or to All sites, so each location can have its own prices.
  3. Optional: speed limitsCreate a speed plan under Plans (for example 5 Mbps down, 2 Mbps up) and choose it in the package.

Yas (Mixx) payments start at TZS 1,000. For cheaper packages the login page greys out Yas, so those guests pay with another network or a voucher. Keep at least one package at TZS 1,000 or more.

2. Your login page

Open Captive portal to add your logo, choose your colour, write a welcome title and message, and pick English or Kiswahili (guests can switch). The preview shows the page as guests see it. Your support number and terms of use come from Settings.

3. Vouchers for cash sales

  1. Generate a batchVouchers → Generate: how many, how long each lasts, the price printed on it, and devices per voucher.
  2. Print themOpen the batch and click Print. Each card shows the code, the price and how to use it. The time starts when the guest first logs in, not when you print.
  3. Free trials for marketingTick Free trial (marketing) to give away codes that aren't counted as sales. Each phone can use only one free trial (on Omada and gateway sites), and the Vouchers page shows how many trial users bought a package afterwards.

4. Getting paid

In Settings → Payments, choose how mobile-money payments reach you:

Every paying guest gets an SMS with their voucher code, so they can reconnect later.

5. Every day
